Asakusa
วันนี้เราไปเที่ยววัด Sosenji วัดเก่าแก่และมีชื่อเสียงของโตเกียวที่ย่าน Asakusa กันครับ โดยพี่มิเหร่เขียนวิธีการขึ้นลงรถไฟ Tokyo Metro ผสมกับ JR ฝากโรงแรมไว้ให้เรา

 

เราต้องชำระกายใจให้สะอาด

กวักควันธูป กวักโชคลาภเข้าหาตัว

 

ถนนคนเดินหน้าวัด ของกินเพียบบบ (กินจนเหงื่อตก)

มันอร่อยมว้ากกก

หลังจากเที่ยวชมและชิมขนมอร่อยถนนนาคามิเสะหน้าวัด Asakusa แล้ว เรานัดเจอพี่มิจังกับพี่โยชิที่ Hachiko Statue ที่ Shibuya ตอนบ่ายโมง

พี่มิจังและพี่โยชินั่งรอเราอยู่แล้วที่อนุสาวรีย์สุนัขผู้ซื่อสัตย์ "Hachiko"
อ่านเรื่องราวแสนซึ้งของ Hachiko ที่ Manager Online เล่าไว้ ได้ที่นี่ครับ รักยิ่งใหญ่จากใจหมาๆ “ฮาจิ” ต้นแบบความรักจากเพื่อนสี่ขา

หลังจากนั้น พี่ๆพาเราสี่คนไปกินร้านซูชิสายพานหรือ Kaiten Sushi ร้านอร่อย ชื่อ "Midori Sushi" ร้านอยู่บนชั้น 8 ของ Seibu Department Store สาขา Shibuya (ห้างนี้มี Comme de Garcon เคาน์เตอร์ใหญ่ สินค้าครบครันด้วยครับ)

พี่มิจังบอกว่าพี่มิจังเองไม่เคยไปกินซูชิที่ Tsukiji Market หรอก เพราะว่าร้านนี้เค้าก็รับปลาสดๆมาจาก Tsukiji เหมือนกัน พี่มิจังกับพี่โยชิมากินซูชิที่ร้านนี้กันแทบทุกอาทิตย์

ร้าน Midori Sushi มีอีกสาขานึง อยู่ที่ตึก Shibuya Mark City แต่ถ้าเป็นที่สาขา Mark City จะมีแต่เมนู A la Carte ไม่มีซูชิสายพาน (แปลว่าราคาจะสูงกว่าสาขาที่เรากินนี้ครับ)

หมายเหตุ ที่ Mark City มี Shop ที่ขายผลิตภัณฑ์ผลงานของศิลปินชื่อดังของญี่ปุ่นอย่าง Takashi Murakami, ป้า Yayoi Kusama เป็นต้น และเป็นที่ตั้งของโรงแรม Shibiya Excel Tokyu ซึ่งมี Airport Limousine Bus จอดรับ-ส่งถึงหน้าโรงแรมด้วย (แต่เช็คราคาจาก Agoda แล้ว แพงกว่า Century Souther Tower ของเราครับ ^_^)

ซูชิที่นี่สดใหม่ทุกคำ ราคาไม่แพงด้วย (ถูกกว่ากินที่กรุงเทพอย่างน่าตกใจครับ)

หลังมื้อกลางวัน พี่มิจังพาอุ๊บอิ๊บไป Tower Records เดินผ่านร้าน Pasela Resorts ต้นตำรับ Shibuya Honey Toast แต่เราอิ่มมาก ไม่ได้แวะกิน พี่อิ๊บมองตามร้านอย่างแสนเสียดาย....
ร้านนี้อยู่ฝั่งเดียวกับ Tower Records นะครับ ห่างกันถัดมาไม่กี่ห้อง

Daikanyama
ตอนเย็นๆ พี่ๆพาเราไปเดินเล่น Daikanyama ซึ่งที่นี่มีร้าน Onitsuka Tiger ร้านใหญ่ให้เลือกซื้อรองเท้ากันอย่างสนุกสนาน 

น้าจ้อยลองอยู่นั่นแหล่ะ

พี่มิจังบอกว่าชอบมาเดินเล่นที่ Daikanyama เพราะแต่ละร้านจะเป็นร้านเล็กๆ คนไม่พลุกพล่าน เราเดินกันถึงมืด พี่สองคนยังพาเราไปนั่งพักกิน Starbucks ที่ Tsutaya Books และซื้อ Macaron อร่อยมากๆยี่ห้อ Jean-Paul Hevin มาให้เรากินเล่นอีกด้วย ก่อนจะพาเราไปซื้อของที่ห้าง Donki สาขา Shibuya จนถึงส่งเราขึ้นรถไฟกลับ Shinjuku

Don Qujote "Donki" ร้านสินค้าราคาประหยัด ร้านสุดโปรดของแม่!

วันนี้เราให้คุณยายนอนเล่นอยู่โรงแรม โดยนายห้างอ๊อกซัง และครอบครัวจี้จังจะมารับไปทานข้าวกลางวันหลังจากฮินาตะจังเสร็จจากการแข่งกีฬาที่โรงเรียนแล้ว
ตาม Plan คือกินข้าวกลางวันกับคุณยาย แล้วให้คุณยายขึ้นมาพักที่โรงแรม
ปรากฏว่าครอบครัวแสนน่ารักพาคุณยายนั่งรถไปวัด Asakusa ช่วงบ่ายหลังอาหารกลางวันด้วย

แล้วยังให้คุณยายขึ้นรถลากแบบโบราณ โดยเอา Wheelchair ใส่รถมาด้วย และนายห้างเป็นคนเข็นให้คุณยายตลอด
ตอนเย็นก่อนพาคุณยายมาส่งที่โรงแรมก็แวะซื้ออาหารเบนโตะสำหรับเป็นอาหารเย็นให้คุณยายอีกด้วย เป็นครอบครัวที่ใจดีน่ารักมากๆ
คุณยายมีความสุขมากพูดไม่หยุด และบอกว่าถ้าไม่ได้มาด้วย ยายเสียดายแย่
...นี่คุณยายกรนคร่อกๆแล้ว

พี่อิ๊บกับผมซื้อ Cup Udon จาก Family Mart มากิน (ไป Family Mart ทุกวัน 555) อร่อยมากๆๆ ผมจะซื้อกลับเมืองไทยด้วย ฮ่าฮ๋า
..คุณยายบอกว่าซื้อไปเผื่อยายด้วยสิ!

My Italy Trip...Venice

Hello all:

Here are my accomodation during my stay at Venice.

 

As I told u earlier, it's a B&B owned by one or two thai women. They charged only 20 Euro per person per night.

The place they give us is like a secret place for Thai girls (+ a guy who does the assistance job) gang. They come to this place for having lunch (kind of hot and spicy e-sarn+ food) everyday. So, I think they must be one of Pan's target group who send money back to their hometown!!

This small 1-storey house has only 1 bedroom with 5 beds. However, one can sleep in the dining room (see picture). The bed, the house, and the restroom are clean.

They offer a full option Thai kitchen plus free Khao^ Sarn+ and 6 bottles of 2-litre mineral water.

Also, they provided easy breakfast such as coffee, tea, milk, bread, cereal and muesli (how to spell?). However, Joe ignored the free breakfast. We went to the supermarket and cook a big brunch (using the complimentary Khao^ Sarn+ to cook in their big Mor' Hoong+ Khao^ - Joe gave nam prig Maeng Da for them in returns hahaha).

For the dinner, at first we stopped by an italian restaurant. However, when we asked if we could ordered 3 pans of pizza (huge ones) for 5 persons, an indian waiter cruelly said "no! u can sit here only if u order 5 pans!"

Actually, we'd like to order only 2 but we Greng-jai so we said 3. So, we ordered just 2 pans for take away and brought it back home hahaha. The pizzas were too salty. They made me think of a good pizza at Scoozi or Lemoncillo in BKK so much!

Dear all,

Since my first serie of Italy pictures got warm welcome from you guys HA HA HA, here's the second serie...

Most places in Rome I visited were inspired by "Angels & Demons" novel by Dan Brown which Pui recommended me to finish reading it before I travel Rome. 

The scenes from the book I had a chance to visit are:-

 

- Obelisk of Santa Maria sopra Minerva:

 

Bernini’s Egyptian obelisk and marble elephant. Actually, the elephant was sculpted by another artist to Bernini’s design.

 

- Pantheon: where tomb of Raphael located inside.

 

- Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi

 

Fountain of 4 great rivers - Ganges, Niles, Danube, and River Plate - supporting an Egyptian obelisk, designed by Bernini. However, it's under renovation during the time I visited. So, couldn't take a good picture.  

 

- Spanish Steps and The Fontana della Barcaccia at the foot of the Spanish Steps.

 

I don't think this place was mentioned in the novel but it's a must tourist spot.

 

From here, we went to have a cup of coffee at Cafe Greco.

 

According to a Rome guidebook, this cafe was opened by a Greek (=Greco) in 1760 (almost 250 years ago!!!), and throughout the 18th century it was a favorite meeting place for foreign artists. Goethe, Wagner (a composer), Casanova, King Ludwig of Bavaria drank here. It's expensive though, 6 Euro a cup! Cheesecake was not impressive.

 

- Fontana del Tritone (sea god), by Bernini again.

 

Look at dolphins, they did yoga - head stand pose hahaha.

 

The dolphin twisting their tails together to support a scallop shell on which the sea god Triton kneels, blowing a spindly column of water up into the air through a conch shell.

- Baroque church "Santa Maria della Vittoria" where Bernini’s sculpture of "the Ectasy of St.Teresa" inside.

 

ตึกข้างหลังจ้ะ

(We walked a long distance from Trevi fountain to this church. P'Juay & Joe was so tired that they didn't enter this church but sitting waited for me at the pedestrian.) This sculpture was criticized because of sexual meaning hidden. The story was like St.Teresa slept one night and dreamt that God came to her in a form of angel and pierced to her body which made her hurt but so happy at the same time, something like that (like having sex!).

 

Here are explanation of the sculpture from the guidebook:

"She lies on a cloud, her mouth half open and her eyelids closed, with rippling drapery covering her body. Looking over her with a smile, which from different angles can appear either tender or cruel, is a curly-haired angel holding an arrow with which he is about to pierce the saint’s body for a second time. The marble figures are framed and illuminated by rays of divine light materialized in bronze."

So, my second day in Rome was a very fun though tired day.

Since P'Kai is going to travel Italy, I must give as much info as I can to P'Kai!!

After checking with the Italy guidebook, I just realised that I missed several interesting places. There are several museums in Rome u shouldn't miss. I will give u name and its don't-miss collections later.

Pui,

as i told u i didn't go anywhere on my first day of the italy trip

Here is the reason..

After we arrived airport, we went to the car rental and it took quite a long time because there are a lot of tourists renting hertz cars. also, P'nunu's credit card didn't work so it took more time.

Here is the picture of our 7-seat mini van during our trip :).

Moreover, we got lost during the way to the resort. Our accommodation is half way between the airport and the city of Rome.
It's 17 kms before reaching Rome but we entered to Rome already so we had to head back and find new way to go.

Before we reached the resort, we found a supermarket so we stopped by to buy a lot of grocery.

We have to wait a while before we can get into the room.

Then, Joe prepared ingredients for our dinner but it took quite a long time so we thought we'd better had it for lunch now.

There are 4 dished: gaeng jued kai jiew, yam fried egg with goon chiang, moo+ tod, and gaeng kiew+ wan+ moo+
We finished them around 3 pm.

After the meal, I had to wash while p'ob and p'nunu went to take a nap. they didn’t wake up until the sky was getting dark(around 7.30PM). So, we stayed all day and night at the resort!! Did not travel anywhere..

Dear Pui:
The second morning, Joe cooked Kao^ Tom Goong. It's delicious.

After that, we took metro to the center of Rome.

 

The first place we went is colosseum (how to spell?).

 

Then, to Roman Forum. The sky was so clear and very sunny.
